Trump's Trigger Fingers

Just when you think Trump couldn't get any lower and unprofessional, he outdoes himself and finds a new way to make us all grunt at yet another disappointment. Donald Trump is under huge (pronounced Yuge) criticism for retweeting anti-muslim video originally posted by Britians First deputy leader Jayda Fransen. There are three majorly wrong things with Trump's actions here.

One, as the president of the united states, under no circumstance should a president clearly show and share such rhetoric. However, this is not a surprise as Trump has never been shy in expressing his opinion on Islam, Mexicans, and minorities in the US. It's the unprofessionalism of retweeting something from a Britain First (equivalent to the Alt-Right in the US). It simply just bad taste and further isolates the president from a large portion of American's and global support.

The second reason why this was another poor discussion, is the fact it is on social media, which means its directly coming from the president, he's not coerced or pushed towards this opinion by a strategically structured question from the press. He is truly comfortable and confident in what he is sharing with the public.

Last but not least, the rhetoric he is sharing with 43.6 million people is not credible. There is no evidence supporting the footage and the description of the footage. For instance, in one of the videos, Fransen said it was "Muslim migrants beating up a Dutch boy on crutches". However local news in the Netherlands can confirm the video from 2013 featuring the "Muslim migrant" attacker is no Muslim nor a migrant. Then Trump had the audacity to follow these falsely informed retweets with a tweet calling to "boycott Fake News CNN".

    I do not think the president should be as active on twitter as he is. I think it is very inappropriate and to be honest, it makes me a bit uncomfortable. I think Trumps actions definitely negate media and news reporting. This was actually shown to be a real problem recently. The Libya media used Trumps tweet about CNN not being credible to there advantage.

    Trump has taken it too far on Twitter, and then the next day he takes it even farther. Yes Twitter and other social media outlets are a very important part of our modern day culture, but there is no reason the President of the United States should be tweeting as often as Donal Trump. There has been one too many things Trump has shared his opinion about on twitter that are completely inappropriate for anyone to say let alone the President. It is incredibly concerning that Trump shares these views with his millions of followers, without thinking he is doing anything wrong. I feel his actions completely negate news reporting. He has a persuasive tone on things that is constantly skewed right or opinion based.

The Facts The Department Health and Human Services issued new rules allowing businesses and non-profit organizations the ability to deny employees contraceptive coverage in their health insurances based on religious or moral objections. In recent events, Facebook has faced scrutiny after it was discovered that 3,000 ads were placed on Facebook by Russians agencies to influence the 2016 presidential election in the U.S. Mark Zuckerberg, Facebook founder, and CEO, denied allegations that Facebook played a role in influencing voters.
